Our golden retriever eats almost anything, except for fruits, so I was doubtful how he would react to this, but he liked it. Overall, we are happy with it, except for the amount and price. The 40 gram bag is quite small, and the pieces inside were also very thin and small, especially for a golden retriever, but we managed to use it as a treat. However, the price of $16 CAD (down from $18 and before a $3.5 coupon) at the time of writing seems to me incredibly high for 40 grams of banana slices, and that is the only reason I have struck a star from my rating.

I was super curious about the elk antler flavour, never heard of anything like that in pet products before! Our big boy has really scratchy, dry, sandpaper like paws. He has big paws, and he scuffs our skin a lot. We wanted to try this trial kit for help. Here’s our experience:
1. The tube is like the size of lipstick. Each tube contains enough to sample the product a few to several times (depending how much you use). Applying the product is easy from the tube and the rubbing in to absorb.
2. The set includes balms for paws, skin, nose, wrinkles, and a healing balm. The set has something for most dog skin care issues. We were excited to try all since our boy has some dry skin issues. We initially tried the paw balm on one paw and compared the texture a few hours later. The treated paw was a little softer. It’s too soon to tell but it looks promising.
We like that these are made with natural lick safe ingredients. We didn’t see any noticeable oil/balm transfer to furniture and bedding, but we did rub in pretty thoroughly. These don’t have an overwhelming fragrance, but they do smell nice. These products didn’t provide instant results, but we did see an improvement quickly. We’ll continue to use it to give our boy dry skin relief.

However, the only reason I'm not giving this a 5-star rating is because of the size of the treat bag. It's a small bag that we went through in about a week - and we normally purchase our dog treats from Costco, so we're used to great value there. If I'm going to being a continuous purchaser of these they'll need to make a bigger pack and help increase the value.

These banana treats would be awesome for my dog IF she was a “pet gone wild.” Apparently, she is not. I attempted on 3 different occasions to give her these treats, and she wasn’t having it. However, my sister’s dogs loved them! They kept coming back for more. So, they got to keep them.
As far as the product itself…they come in a resealable bag that holds an ounce of the treats. The bag looks half empty because it’s measured by weight, not volume. They are freeze dried, which removes water, but still allows for nutritional value and flavor. They are crunchy and smell delicious (if you like bananas, that is). They are preservative free and have no added sugar. They are one ingredient - banana! I appreciate that they are grain and gluten free, which is ideal for dogs like my sister’s who have allergies and sensitivities. Because they are high in fiber, they also assist with healthy digestion. Overall, a great value for the price.

The lid of the jar isn't super tight so be aware there might be powder on the jar and trapped between the jar and lid upon arrival so open over a sink. Also very important that you follow the mixing instructions in order to avoid lumps and ensure it fully dissolves.
